Method 2:

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the printer software and drivers and check. Download and save the latest Windows 8.1 compatible driver and firmware in a temporary location. Follow these steps to uninstall the printer driver:

1. Press Windows key + X, select Device manager.
2. Locate the printer.
3. Right click the device and select “Properties”.

Often printing problems stem from issues with the PDF file. Even if a PDF looks fine on screen, it can contain incomplete or corrupt data.
